It is a non-governmental, non-political, non-benefit and non-religious organization.
The activity of” The Humanitarian Non-Benefit Association SETRAS Deva" is well-known both in Romania and abroad, due to the treatments and international conferences and camps organized each year.
The main principle that leads the activity of the Association is to help people through different mental activities meant for supporting life. The entire name of the association is: EUROPEAN SOCIETY FOR RADIANCE TECHNIQUE AND SPIRITUAL HARMONY. Its identity resides from the name SETRAS, massive mountain near Sacaramb.
The main objective of the Association SETRAS is to establish an „INTERNATIONAL HEALTH CENTER” in Săcărâmb, that shall contain: the health centre itself, the research labs for complementary therapies, The National Youth Centre for Inventions, The International Cultural Centre, a Centre for Recovery through Sports Activities and a Campus for Old Age People.
During ten years of activity, we have held free cures for the persons who desired, we have organized the holiday of the Christmas tree for children from poor families from Deva, we have provided material help for victims of calamities (in case) and have organized book advertising and free concerts of therapeutics music.
SETRAS Publishing House has translated and made-up several books, such as: Edgar Cayce – story of the soul, by W.H.Church; Description of the gold and silver mine Săcărâmbu, by Andreas Stütz, 1803; Short monograph of Hungarian royal society and gold mines from Săcărâmb – Transilvania, 1748-1871; Săcărâmb – monograph, by Pavel Mogoşan, 2002; Geologic and mining situation of Sacaramb, by Inkey Béla, 1885. We have also published for the first time, in modern age, a set of 4 postcards of Săcărâmb.
Main activities, to be held in 2005: "International Conference for Folk Medicine and Natural Cures", fourth edition, which shall be held at The House of Culture in Deva, between July 22nd–24th; "International Camp for Complementary Therapies Săcărâmb", ninth edition, which shall be held between August 12th-16th.
